Student opportunities

Washington NASA Space Grant Consortium prepares students for the workforce of tomorrow through experiences in education, hands-on research and course work.

Space Grant scholarships and fellowships are offered to students pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics at WSGC member schools throughout the state of Washington.

We also support research internships for students at colleges and universities statewide. Additional competitive internships are offered in private industry and at NASA centers across the country.

WSGC student team awards help students participate in national competitions either sponsored or sanctioned by NASA. In the past, awards have been given to team projects in robotics, microgravity, rocketry, and other NASA-related fields.

Challenging college and university courses, developed with WSGC support, offer undergraduates and graduate students a chance to learn more about NASA-related research and engage in hands-on projects.
